Problem:
The water which is fed in via a damping pipe towards the end
of the baking process
evaporates very quickly at temperatures of 200º C. What is left are the
minerals that were contained in the water- mostly lime - which, on the one
hand, clog up the damping pipe and, on the other hand, create lime residues
on the baking trays. The consequence is that the damping pipe has to be replaced
frequently and has to be delimed in a laborious process.
The baking trays, too, require a considerable amount of cleaning.

Solution:
Through WELLAN 2000 the lime problem is changing
to the better in that only a powder-like lime material
is obtained; significantly less deposits settle in the
damping pipe and the replacement intervals can be stretched considerably.
Thus, the cleaning of the
pipe is simplified enormously. It is sufficient to knock
out the pipe or to immerse it in water. The cleaning
of the baking trays, too, can be done in most cases
without the use of chemical cleansing agents.
