Beyond harmonizing water, WELLAN 2000® technology also supports electromagnetic safety in sensitive environments. A recent field evaluation in the Middle East provided insight into the energy fields surrounding WELLAN 2000® installations.
Using a standard voltmeter, the electromagnetic field strength near a WELLAN 2000® unit was found to be under 50 V/m. This level is considered safe for daily human exposure, particularly in areas where people live or work near technical equipment.
To further reduce exposure, the WELLAN 2000® team recommends the use of Faraday shielding fabric in high-sensitivity zones. This combination of WELLAN’s low emissions and proper shielding ensures both physical and energetic safety for residents, staff, or users.
